3 days till Breakthrough Youth Conference!!!!

It's only 3 days till Breakthrough 08!! We are sooo excited to see what God has planned for us this year. Not only are we hosting Breakthrough at our own church venue, there is a real sense of expectation to see people push into the realm of the miraculous.

This is a weekend you don't want to miss. Thank you to all our amazing Breakthrough workers - without you guys, this conference would not be possible. If you have already registered, please make sure you pay and pick up your rego/worker pack from the office by this Thursday night.

Breakthrough Youth Conference

Hey, it's exactly 2 weeks till Breakthrough 08 !!! Four amazing speakers - Pat Schatzline, James Murray, David Hall and Toby Collins. If you haven't already registered, go to www.breakthrough.org.nz for info on how to register.

We are expectant to see what God will do at Breakthrough. We have received numerous testimonies from all over Northland about the amazing impact Breakthrough Youth Conference has been to their youth - many youth groups have doubled, at-risk kids are getting saved and many are breaking out in healing evangelism out on the streets.

Following on from our outreach elective last year, this year we will be training and sending our conference delegates out all over Auckland on how to talk to people on the streets and how to follow the Holy Spirit's direction to see miracles happen. We can't wait!

This conference would not be possible without the time and efforts of so many from church. If you would like to be part of this year's conference, please join us at our Breakthrough Worker Meeting this Monday 19th May, 7pm at church.

Cell groups start this week!

Connect groups is the heart of the Young Adults ministry at Encounter Christian Centre. It is a place where people can meet together as small groups to learn and share about God.

Please note that the Avondale cell group will be shifting to Te Atatu in a few weeks time. Also, the new Mt Albert cell will starting on Wed 5th Mar.

Movie in the Park

What a weekend we had at Ponui Island - the weather was perfect & God's presence was so tangible. We hope you had an amazing weekend.

Well, our 2008 calendar has begun! Join us this Wednesday (13th Feb) at Tahaki Reserve, 250 Mt Eden Rd, Mt Eden at 7.30pm to watch Sione's wedding. Bring your favourite blanket, rugs, picnic food & drinks. Meet by the purple balloons. This is a FREE event hosted by Auckland City Council.
